Extract Pages
Pull just the pages you need into a new PDF — right in your browser, with nothing uploaded.

Private by design. This tool runs entirely in your browser — your file is processed on your device and is never uploaded to us. How this works
Extract Pages creates a new PDF containing only the pages you choose. Name a single page like 5, a range like 1-3, or a mix like 1-3, 5, 12, and Ream copies just those pages into a fresh file. Your original stays exactly where it is, untouched.
Everything happens in your browser — no upload, no account, no watermark — so pulling a few pages out of a confidential document stays completely private.
How it works
Your browser copies the pages you listed into a brand-new PDF and leaves the source file alone. The copied pages keep their original quality — text stays selectable, images keep their resolution — because nothing is re-rendered. The new file downloads straight to your device; nothing is sent anywhere.
How to Extract Pages
Add your PDF
Drop the file onto the box above or click to browse. It loads straight into your browser — no upload.
List the pages to keep
Type the pages you want, for example
1-3, 5. Single pages, lists and ranges all work.Download the new PDF
Click Run Extract Pages and save a fresh PDF of just those pages.
Choosing which pages to keep
Counting starts at 1 for the first page. Combine single pages, lists and ranges:
| You type | Ream keeps |
|---|---|
5 | just page 5 |
1-3 | pages 1, 2 and 3 |
2, 6, 9 | pages 2, 6 and 9 |
1-3, 8-10 | pages 1–3 and 8–10 |
Extracted pages come out in the document’s original order (lowest page first), even if you type the ranges in a different order. Numbers outside the document are ignored.
Extract, delete or split — which do you want?
- Extract Pages keeps only the pages you name and drops the rest.
- Delete Pages is the opposite — it keeps the whole file and removes only the pages you name.
- Split PDF breaks one file into several files at once.
Reach for Extract when you want a small piece of a big document; reach for Delete when you want to lose just a few pages.
Pulling out a single page
To save one page, just type its number — 5 gives you a one-page PDF of page 5. It’s the fast way to send someone a single form, one certificate, or a chapter from a long report without forwarding the whole document.
When extracting pages helps
- Sending one form or page from a big packet.
- Saving a single chapter or section of a report or book.
- Pulling the pages a client actually needs out of a long contract.
- Grabbing a few receipts from a merged batch.
- Building a short excerpt to share without exposing the rest.

Frequently asked questions
How do I extract pages from a PDF?
Add the file, type the pages to keep (for example 1-3, 5) and click Run Extract Pages. You download a new PDF of just those pages.
Can I extract a single page?
Yes — type its number and you get a one-page PDF of that page.
Does extracting reduce the quality?
No. The pages are copied without recompression, so they match the original exactly.
What happens to my original PDF?
Nothing — it’s left untouched. Extract creates a separate new file with the pages you chose.
Do the pages stay in order?
Yes. Extracted pages keep the document’s original order, lowest page first.
Can I extract pages without Acrobat?
Yes — no Acrobat, no install. It works in any modern browser on Windows, macOS, Linux, iPhone and Android.
Is my file uploaded to a server?
No. Extraction runs entirely in your browser — the PDF never leaves your device.
How is this different from Delete Pages?
Extract keeps only the pages you name; Delete keeps everything except the pages you name.
